Where Does The Time Go?
Without proper time assessment and management, even the most talented will fail. Today, the road to success can be such a gamble, so if you're going to invest your time it needs to be appropriately accessed and prioritized. But where does all of this time go in the first place.
In my own personal instances, I allow new ventures to distract me from the things I know I should be doing; I call it productive procrastination. That's when you use your valuable time and invest it into something new and exciting, but this always seems to come at the most inconvenient time. Right when something gets difficult or frustrating, you relieve yourself with something intriguing to keep your mind off of it.
Subconsciously, you'd rather risk failing at something new because it's expected than fail at something you've already invested countless hours in, all because that failure carries more weight. Or maybe it's not the fear of failure that's hindering, maybe it's the fear of success.
After you've conquered certain self-doubts and prevailed, the failures become riskier and more self-involving. So what do you do, lie to yourself and run from the possible failure, or risk it all for the possible success. All I know is, at the end of it all, there will be no more opportunities to lie to yourself because now your life will be a reflection of the risk you were willing to take. So...fuck it, give it all you got.
